I have been in the challenging position as the fifth Chief Executive of Klitra for nearly a year now. There have been major changes in the world of funding and training and as your “training department for the sector”, I have striven to ensure that we continue to represent your interests at regional and national levels. As you will see from the rest of this site, we are still as active as ever.
Klitra has been working closely with KIF and Skillfast UK to ensure that any available funding is channelled in our sector’s direction. I have also been acting on your behalf vetting new and amended qualifications in the light of the radical changes to vocation qualifications. I am also reviewing changes to the modern apprenticeship which affect us.
